We know that once Chairman Meow gets out of the house, he’s looking forward to pounce on neighbor’s black cat. In the 4 days of lock down, this is what Chairman Meow does every hour, sitting on the table, staring across the street at the neighbor’s sunbathing black cat…

We can’t keep Chairman Meow indoor forever, but if we let him out, he goes battle against bigger cats and even some dogs and come back injured. What to do???

Feeling melancholy after holiday

The winter holiday is officially over.

Christmas tree and all decorations are stuffed to storage, and the next awaiting holiday… Chinese New Year… (shudder)

I don’t like decorating for Chinese New Year. For me, everything is too bright and red. There is little room for creativity and imagination. I tried to write some of those lucky wall scroll back in summer Chinese school when learning to write chinese calligraphy. Unfortunately, my calligraphy skills is… mediocre , at best. Plus, it’s difficult to compete with the store bought lucky scroll since people can buy 5 scrolls for under a $1.

Haisun, take some picture of Chinese New Year in Thailand for us. I want to see how they celebrate over there. I am imagining elephants and golden temples, so don’t forget about those!

Don’t understand why dad likes to open doors and windows of someone else room, and leave it to freezing. Came back from work today and found all the windows open when it’s a low 50 degree outdoor.

My image of Thailand was much different than what Haisun describe to be. When she said that was greeted warmly into a great place with king size bed and internet access, 7-Eleven nearby, and friendly people around, I am glad that she’s not sleeping in a swinging canvas hammock inside a straw built hut next to some Buddhist temple with monks. Tell us more about Thailand, and this time, with photos! And yes, set up a webcam if possible!

Yesterday, my sister headed to Thailand for oversea study. I was handed the job of taking her to the airport, I figured I might find enjoyment of taking a camera on some candid shots.

Naaaa, far from that. This web page was the result of one day of brainstorming after an insomnia night and a boring Saturday morning; mostly because there wasn’t anything good on TV.

This web page is for my sister, who is currently in Thailand for study. This is my way of updating current family & local events to her. But be warned, our family lived in a city full of senior citizen where most stores closes after 10 P.M. , so there would be a lot of posting that might not be of interests to anyone. So don’t email and complain to me, you have been warned.
